Barbados Association of Central Florida 2008 Independence Church Service

The Barbados Association of Central Florida 2008 Independence Church Service was held at the St, John’s Episcopal Episcopal Church , 1709 N. John Young Parkway, Kissimmee, Florida on Sunday November 30, 2008. The church service was conducted by Fr. Cecil and began at 10:30 a.m., with a procession of flag of Barbados and by the president and members of the BAOCF. This was followed by the playing of the Barbados National Anthem by the St, John’s Episcopal Episcopal Church Steel Orchestra.

Following the church service a breakfast reception was held in the Parish Hall which was attended by over 120 guests. The hall was tastefully decorated with the colors of Barbados along with artifacts of Barbadian history. President Dr. Dale Husbands read the Prime Minister of Barbados Independence Message and presented a check to the St, John’s Episcopal Episcopal Church. The entire function was organized by a church committee led by Mrs. Michelle Roach.
